Just a quick note to those of you who been calling the house all afternoon, interrupting my nap, wondering why there's been no church bulletin in the mail this week.
People it's because Miz Lovelady's adenoids been acting up again, and at her age she needs all her strength to turn the handle on the mimeograph machine so it might be another day or two before she's done writing them out by hand.
Remember that this week's bulletin will include the Approved List of TV programs acceptable for viewing in your home. As usual not much has changed, except that Lost has been moved down to Unacceptable, while Heroes has been moved up to Recommended.

Why would you send out the bulletins after Sunday? Why not before Sunday so that would know what was going to happen at church? and Why couldn't your congeration ask you that at church yesterday instead of calling you at home? Why is your church making such and elderly woman do all that work, especially by herself?
Because that is the right way, and the only way we know, the same way we always ever done things, you see.
